He was a Visitor and Flight of the Clouds

I really meant to write yesterday, but the day just got away from me. I'll share a couple photos I took to make it up to you. This first one might gross you out, but it visited my back patio after a storm. I try not to miss opportunities to practice my photography skills... or lack thereof.

I didn't get home until 1am last night, and this next photo is the unexpected view from my backyard. With all the rain we had yesterday, it was surprising to find the sky so clear. Some low clouds were moving pretty quickly across the sky, so I grabbed my camera to capture the moment.

Sometimes the coolest things happen in our own backyards.
